St.Augustine & St.Mary's Cathedral School: Sports

Our PAA Sports Program is a Parish based opportunity provided to mainly 5th and 6th graders whose families are currently active members of either St. Mary’s Cathedral or St. Augustine’s Parish Communities.

The various sports programs found within the PAA provide Parish Youth an excellent opportunity to learn the value of competition, teamwork, and discipline. This decades old organization consists of Central Minnesota parish based youth leagues. The current leagues are: Football (Sept.-Oct.), Volleyball (Sept.-Oct.), Soccer (Sept.-Oct.), Boys and Girls Basketball (Nov.-Feb.), and Boy’s Baseball / Girl’s Softball (March-May)

Sign-ups will be held at the Paperwork Night before the beginning of the school year as well as a few weeks prior to the beginning of each subsequent season.

Coaches are recruited on a voluntary basis and the practice schedules are generated by them to fit into the coaches schedules.

All Parish youth in the 5th and 6th grade are welcome to join. We are always looking for volunteer coaches and assistants. Any questions, suggestions, or ideas for fund raising, please call the school office at 251-2376.
